As the daughter of an alcoholic, I know first-hand the destruction alcohol can cause a family. The House of Hope brings sobriety to those willing to follow the program and turn their lives around. It is my favorite place to donate nice clothing, toys and necessities for these wonderful people who are starting new lives. I applaud them.

Odyssey House saved mine and my kids lives. It created a strong, powerful, self sufficient woman. My whole life was a mess. I came to Odyssey House a broken woman with no self esteem. A woman who was strung out on Meth and was extremely depressed and at rock bottom on the verge of losing my kids. I have been clean and sober for almost 8 years now. I learned how to stand on my own two feet. I graduated High school. I learned how to be a good mom for two children with their own special needs. I have learned to hold my head up high and never look back. I have received so many blessings in life and I owe it all to the hard work and dedication that not only the staff had for me but for all of the work I put in. Not a day goes by that I do not look at myself and say wow Look what I did. Look at where I came from and where I am now. Sobriety has given me so much to look forward to. Little by little my pieces are coming together and I know that I will be okay, Thank you Odyssey for everything. I love being an Odyssey Graduate. I love being a success. Thank you for giving me tho tools I needed to become Power Mama.

As a previous employee of odyssey house I can seriously say this place helps people who want the help! yes there are people there that are just getting out of prison, and that's part of what odyssey is there to help with. reintroduction to society is a hard thing to do and odyssey house helps with that is so many ways. They have vocational work that I believe is really good for someone in addiction recovery, and they help teach skills of how to deal with others that you couldn't match with any program! I worked there for only a few months but the experience was great! if your looking for a job in addiction recovery odyssey house is a good place to start, all the staff are very helpful and the human resources manager is awesome! Everyone is extremely busy but the house is a fun and exciting place to work it really has some character! I was in the program when I was younger but in the adolescent program and it really changed my life! Thank you odyssey for a job and a change in my perspective on life! Shout out to Jessica C! She's the nicest woman there hands down!!
